Our Mission

Zenith Maritime, since its inception, has focused on exceptional professional maritime education, training and personal service for Master 100 ton and OUPV (6-pack) merchant mariners. Consistent with this statement, we have developed and presently offer United States Coast Guard approved license training courses which go well beyond federally mandated minimum training standards. To this end, we have gathered a solid core of USCG approved and licensed professional instructors to deliver each and every license course we offer. If your maritime path takes you towards a career as a charter boat captain - operator, inland-river or coastal fishing guide, or pursuing a deck officer position aboard an Alaska bound cruise ship we are here to help you with your USCG licensing needs.

In addition, we also offer USCG approved OUPV – Master 100 License Renewal, Upgrade OUPV to Master 100, 200 GT Assistance Towing Endorsement, and 200 GT Sail Endorsement license training. These courses plus our FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit (MROP) license preparation and examination services elevates Zenith Maritime to a level of service well beyond the majority of so-called Coast Guard Captain’s license academies. In addition, our graduates have full access to our world-wide yacht delivery connection at www.captainsforhire.com.

You always take the USCG required license examination(s) with us. Public, group, and individual classes are always available through out the year, on a nation-wide basis. In addition, in most instances, we can export the training to you (per USCG approval of training site).

Zenith Maritime - Seattle is licensed by the State of Washington as a private vocational school.

Please take a moment and review our current course offerings and schedule. We truly offer the USCG licensed Master 100 tons and OUPV professional merchant mariners a convenient one stop site for their professional training and licensing needs.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or thoughts on your USCG licensing needs.
