Training Course Outlines

At Zenith Maritime and National Maritime Courses of America, our merchant mariner license training courses not only meet current USCG - CFR requirements but also reflect industry needs for competent mariner training. Our in-class training materials include our own study guides and compact discs plus proven maritime educational publications and reference materials from around the world. Our license training courses generally go beyond the minimum number of hours of contact instruction mandated by the USCG. For example, most OUPV courses just meet the minimum standard of 56-hours set by the USCG. Our currently approved OUPV course is delivered in 63-hours, not including examination time.
