IMPORTANT UPDATE TO THE NEXT OUPV (6 Pack) Class in Helena, MT CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF ENROLLEMENTS. PLEASE SEE BELOW.

THIS CLASS NEEDS MORE PEOPLE TO SIGN UP TO BE A GO. WE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 STUDENTS ENROLLED BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2023, WITH DEPOSITS PAID BY THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS OR THIS CLASS WILL BE CANCELLED. ANYONE WHO HAS PAID THE DEPOSIT WILL HAVE THE OPTION FOR A REFUND OR CLASS MATERIALS EMAILED TO THEM. SO LONG AS THE 8 PERSON MINIMUM IS MET, LATE SIGN UPS CAN ADD UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS. THIS WILL BE UPDATED ON MONDAY EVENING. TOTAL SEATS AVAILABLE NOW ARE 12. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY RESCHEDULING OF THIS CLASS LOCATION AT A DIFFERENT TIME UNTIL POSSIBLY NEXT FALL SO IF YOU WANT A LOCAL CLASS, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

1. . In person December 4 - 15th Helena, MT at the Residence Inn.

Schedule:        1st Week – Mon. to Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  (Dec 4th – Dec. 7th)

2nd Week – Mon. to Wed. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Dec. 11th-13th)

Voluntary review:  Thursday, Dec 14th at a place TBD.

                        Test:  Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. (4 modules over 8 hours)

                                                            retakes on Saturday for dropped modules.

Cost:    $1,495.00 pp.  $350 non-refundable deposit due immediately for cost of materials sent to students electronically for printing out.  Students are encouraged to begin studying the materials ahead of time to learn the materials.  Payment by cash, check, credit card accepted.  All credit cards add an additional 4% to cost.

The Double Tree by Hilton is a newly approved U.S. Coast Guard Training site for Captain’s License Training. First class begins at 8 a.m. on March 6th and runs through the 16th. There is an online component to this training session. This is the license for most outfitters and guides in Montana. Come join the fun. Seats are limited to 15 persons. Call Capt. SCHEDULE CHANGED FOR Captain’s license training in Post Falls, Idaho at North Idaho College of Workforce Training and Development. The next OUPV (6 Pack) class will be held at North Idaho College in Post Falls, Idaho starting January 18 - 28th. Class is limited to 12 persons. Price is $1395 pp for the 6 Pack Course. Immediately following the 6 Pack Course a Masters 100 Ton upgrade will be held in the same location Jan 28 for 3 days with test on the 4th day. for an additional $550. This class must have 6 persons as a minimum enrollment and no more than 12 persons. Class is Mon - Thurs first week 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the following week is Mon - Wed 8-5, review Thurs (not mandatory) and tests Friday ( all day). Call today - 307-899-1401.

The next OUPV (6 Pack) class will be held at North Idaho College in Post Falls, Idaho starting March 8 th - March 19th. Class is limited to 24 persons. Price is $1395 pp for the 6 Pack Course. Immediately following the 6 Pack Course a Masters 100 Ton upgrade will be held in the same location March 22nd - March 25th for an additional $550. 6 Pack License Training Class in the safety of your own home. Guides and Outfitters on the water need this USCG license to conduct trips on all Federal waterways in the various states. OUPV (6 Pack) Class beginning by internet conferencing held Mon- Thursday 6 - 10 p.m. $250 deposit required for attendance. This is an interactive class and attendance is mandatory. If interested, parties may come to Northwest College during the class on a prescheduled day to bone up on charting. Once the deposit is paid, you will receive the materials by email.
